Our Senior partner has been with the firm for over 20 years and heads our Litigation Team. Rachel specialises in Child Care Law and Family Law; these are areas requiring sensitivity and toughness, qualities that she has in abundance. She is a long-serving member of The Law Society's Children Law Accreditation Scheme (Children's Panel), qualified to represent both children and adults. Rachel is also a member of The Law Society’s Family Law Advanced Accreditation Scheme, being one of the first solicitors in Cornwall to gain this status.
Alex is our Second Partner and the Crime Supervisor within the Firm. He concentrates on assisting clients who are in trouble with the Police or who are facing Prosecution by other agencies such as the Department for Work and Pensions, Local Authority or other Government Regulatory Bodies. He is qualified as a member of the Duty Solicitor Scheme and has been practicing Criminal Law for over 20 years. He spends the majority of his time in either the Police Station, Magistrates' Court or The Crown Court. He also deals with Civil Litigation, Personal Injury and is a friendly, approachable and very useful person to know.
Juliet is our Third Partner and has worked for the firm since 2003 and is a qualified licensed conveyancer. Conveyancing is her specialty but she also deals with wills and probate matters. Sound in knowledge, competent and efficient, she is someone to rely upon during your property transactions.
Juliet is also an accomplished triathlete and marathon runner when not chasing around after her clients' affairs.
Samantha is one of our litigation solicitors. Samantha qualified in 2007 and joined our team in 2012. Samantha provides advice and assistance in relation to all types of dispute and civil litigation matters including boundary disputes, debt collection, employment and landlord and tenant problems. She is also able to assist in contractual disputes and personal injury matters.
Samantha's expertise also extends to all types of family matters including, divorce, resolution of financial matters, co-habitee disputes and cases involving the local authority and social services. Samantha is a friendly and approachable member of our team. She is also a member of The Law Society's Children Law Accreditation Scheme (Children's Panel)
Natalie is a Chartered Legal Executive practicing in Family Law. Since qualifying, Natalie has specialised in all aspects of family law and particularly focuses on divorce and financial matters.
Natalie is alive to the very personal nature of the issues involved with family matters. She also deals sensitively with disputes between separated parents in relation to the care of their children, whether it is in respect of issues of residence, contact between the children and a parent or any other disputes that may arise. She is also happy to assist with cases involving the local authority and Social Services.
Maria is a Chartered Legal Executive and an important member of our residential conveyancing team. For her, every client and every transaction is unique and she enjoys the challenge of resolving tricky problems that are often encountered in conveyancing in Cornwall. She is friendly and approachable and most importantly, has the ability to explain complicated legal matters in straightforward and simple language.
Maria is also a qualified teacher and is privileged to have the opportunity to teach students and legal secretaries to become future lawyers.
Teresa Blenard is a Chartered Legal Executive and specialises in Probate, Elderly Care, Wills, Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) and an Enduring Power of Attorney (EPA) and all aspects of buying or selling a property.
She is competent, efficient and an extremely friendly person and will be happy to assist with any of your needs.
Sarah Painter is a Solicitor and specialises in Probate, Elderly Care, Wills, Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA), Long Term Care Issues, Tax, Trusts and all aspects of Buying or Selling a property. She is also a Dementia Friend as part of an initiative by the Alzheimer’s Society in that she has undergone specialist training to become a dementia specialist.

Charles is a valuable member of our Criminal and Family team who is a solicitor. He is a member of Duty Solicitor Scheme and is happy to assist at the Police Station, the Magistrates' Court or the Crown Court.
