Initial Consultation re Children matters and Domestic Violence
To take advantage of this you must provide the following prior to your appointment:
- Payment in full.
- Evidence of identity to satisfy the money laundering regulations.
£100 plus VAT
What's included in the package:
- A meeting, either in person, by telephone or by video via TEAMS of up to 30 minutes duration.
- A summary of the meeting may be provided by letter if requested.
What’s not included in the package.
- All other work is outside of this scope.
Each Directions Appointment - £375.00 plus VAT
To take advantage of this you must provide the following at least 7 days before the hearing:
- Payment in full.
- Evidence of identity to satisfy the money laundering regulations.
- Court Bundle
What's included in the package:
- Consideration of documents provided by you.
- A one hour meeting with you at Court prior to the Court hearing.
- Representation at the Court hearing.
- Liaising with the other party or their legal representative at Court.
- Our travel time to the Family Court at Truro.
- Report to you after the Court hearing.
What's not included in the package:
- Any additional meetings
- Our petrol costs (£0.45 per mile plus vat) and car parking

- Our travel time to Courts other than in Truro.
- We will not incur any disbursements or Court fees.
- We will not enter into correspondence/telephone calls/negotiations with you or any third party other than to agree the order arising from the hearing.
- We will not go on the Court record as acting, other than for the day of the hearing itself.
- We will not prepare any documents in readiness for the hearings.
- We reserve the right to charge up to 50% of the fixed fee and VAT in the event that the Court hearing does not proceed, and less than 48 hours’ written notice is given to our firm by you.
Our hourly rates will apply should you wish us to undertake work not included in this package.
Half Day Hearing - £750.00 plus VAT
To take advantage of this you must provide the following at least 7 days before the hearing:
- Payment in full
- Evidence of identity to satisfy the money laundering regulations.
- Court bundle.
What's included in the package:
- Consideration of documents provided by you to include one face to face meeting
- Representation at the Court hearing.
- Liaising with the other party or their legal representative at Court.
- Our travel time to the Family Court at Truro.
- Report to you after the Court hearing.
What's not included in the package:
- Any additional meeting
- Our petrol costs (£0.45 per mile plus vat) and car parking.
- Our travel time to Courts other than in Truro.
- We will not incur any disbursements or Court fees.

-Evidence of identity to satisfy the money laundering regulations
-Court bundle.
What's included in the package:
- Consideration of the Court bundle provided by you to include one face to face meeting of up to 30 minutes.
- If required by the Court, preparation of a brief Position Statement or Case Summary.
- Representation at the Court hearing.
- Liaising with the other party or their legal representative at Court.
- Our travel time to the Family Court at Truro.
- Report to you after the Court hearing.
What's not included in the package:
- Preparation of Court Bundles.
- Any additional meeting
- Our petrol costs (£0.45 per mile plus vat) and car parking.
- Our travel time to Courts other than in Truro.
- We will not incur any disbursements or Court fees.
- We will not enter into correspondence/telephone calls/negotiations with you or any third party, other than to agree the order arising from the hearing.
- We will not go on the Court record as acting, other than for the day of the hearing itself.
- We will not prepare any documents other than a brief Position Statement or Case Summary.

Change of Name deed for Adults
To take advantage of this you must provide the following prior to your appointment:
- Payment in full.
- Evidence of identity to satisfy the money laundering regulations.
£150 plus VAT
What's included in the package:
- One meeting of up to 30 minute duration.
- Preparation of Change of Name Deed, together with 3 certified copies for your use.
What's not included in the package:
- We will not register the Change of Name Deed as this is not a legal requirement.
