FAMILY MATTERS

Over the years we have become real specialists in family law. We probably have the largest family practice in one office in the area. We can offer you male or female advisors. We can usually see new clients on the same day that they make contact with us and we are always able to cater for emergencies. We take a mediatory approach and try to resolve disputes amicably but equally we can be tough negotiators. We have Law Society Panel specialists on our team, and members of Resolution First. This is an association of lawyers dedicated to resolving disputes without acrimony.

We deal with separation and divorce, disputes relating to where children live and who they see, and financial disputes between couples who are married, are Civil Partners or who simply, live together.

Many of our cases involve the division of very substantial assets but we administer the same care to our less wealthy clients.
Sadly, cases of domestic violence are all too frequent and we have in place well oiled machinery to handle such cases as a matter of urgency.

We also have specialists dealing with care cases, that is, disputes with social services when the local authority seek to take children away from their parents.

In all of the above cases not only are we able to provide a sympathetic ear but sound advice and practical help.
